Apart from its proverbial trim level regarding seams, heat-sealed and pattern, Drylastic emphasizes the use of Japanese precompressed neoprene 7 to 4mm. This neoprene has the advantage of excellent thermal protection in the background because of its incompressibility, coupled with a greatly reduced need for ballast. It also reduces the need for large volume underwear as in trilaminates.
The tendency of such very stiff neoprene has been offset by the use of indoor / outdoor Ultraspan © lining known for its glossy finish, its excellent hydrodynamic slippage and, especially, by its surprising elasticity in all senses. Thus we combine comfort equivalent to a wet suit with a high-end look and some outstanding technical performance.
The seals in neck and wrists were performed in super elastic neoprene 5mm easily replaced if damaged.
